Master of Research Candidature is structured around a series of milestones:
-Draft Research Plan submitted at 3 months equivalent full time enrolment

-Thesis or creative equivalent submission for examination no later than 24 months equivalent full time enrolment

举个例子，如果你在美国拿了一个学士学位，你就有一年OPT。如果你接下来又拿了一个硕士学位，那你又有一年OPT。但你如果学士毕业直接读硕士，学士的OPT就自动失效了。如果读完一个硕士，申请了一次OPT以后，再读另一个硕士，是没有OPT的申请机会。

STEM专业（STEM专业指科学 Science、科技 Technology、工程 Engineering、数学 Mathematics），则OPT可以延长至3年！

英国硕士毕业签证

英国毕业生签证（Graduate Route），属于一种过渡型短期签证。

不需要有工作offer就能申请，英国本科生与硕士生可申请留英2年，博士生则可留英3年。

签证到期后，毕业生需要转入技术工人签证或其他签证，否则就要离开英国。

澳大利亚485签证 – PSW工签

澳大利亚本科的PSW签证长度为2年，研究生（授课型/研究型）为3年，博士为4年。在偏远地区学习的同学还可申请额外时间的485签证。最重要的是无需职业评估，专业不限。
